Before you know it, the Standing Stone 3 v 3 Shoot-Out will be here. Once again, it is a collaborative effort between the Huntingdon Soccer Club and the Huntingdon Community Center. It will take place on May 28 (Memorial Day) at Detwiler Memorial Field. Below you will find links that will give you access to the tournement brochure as well as information on finding the field. See you on the pitch!
The Huntingdon Soccer Club (HSC) was formed in 2004 in response to the increasing interest in regional soccer. With the goal of nurturing and developing the emerging talents of local soccer players and providing new opportunities for growth and challenge, HSC fielded its first competitive teams in spring 2004.
The Club now serves over 150 players, both boys and girls ages 6-19, who want to play against teams from other communities in our region. The HSC is helping players develop their soccer skills close to home.
Through grants and generous donations from individuals, HSC has developed a new soccer facility just north of Huntingdon Borough on Rt. 26. The Scott Grugan Memorial Field serves as a practice space and home field for competitive soccer in Huntingdon County.
HSC welcomes all participants who are interested in moving their game to the next level and interested supporters of youth soccer in the area.
